Once upon a time there was a beautiful Princess, she was missing all over the country and everybody worried. Then one day the king wrote a letter, to all the brave and wise men in the country. Over a hundred knights, soldiers and workers, received the letter. In over 7 days hundred of men came to the castle to try their luck. All of them were knights, soldiers and workers. The winner of a tournament was chosen to release the princess from her prison. The queen and the King were really tired of listening and watching useless and stupid candidates, they were convinced that they were the new king. But then one day, a poor Farm boy came into the hall. He bowed for The King and The Queen. “Hallo, Your majesty. What a lovely dress, Queen Acyrien” he said, charming. The Queen blushed, and her cheeks were very pink. “What a gentleman” The Queen whispered to one of her maids. The King wasn’t happy. His face turned very red and he almost shouted, “What do you want? I don’t have all day”. The farm boy was still smiling and answered, “I want to release your Beautiful daughter”. All the people in the hall were laughing. But he was still smiling. “I can prove it” he defended himself. The King wiped a tear of his cheek and said “You’re just a stupid farm boy, how can you be so smart and brave that you deserve my daughter?”. “I have a magic hand” he said very mysterious. The Queen and her maids were laughing more a more of the little boy. But the king didn’t laugh anymore. “Can your prove it?” he asked. “I have a special trick, just for you, your majesty. And it’s called the magic cheese”. The King looked confused, but suddenly he said “Ok, show us what you got, BUT if it isn’t good, I will kick you out of my country”. The farm boy didn’t look like he took it as a threat. He suddenly began to take a cheese up of his bag. “This cheese is magic, it can make things disappear.” He started. The queen was getting closer to him, to see closer to the cheese. “Do you have a buttercup?” he asked. The king awake from his trauma, and waved to one of his waiters to get a buttercup. Few seconds later the waiter showed up with a buttercup and gave it to the Farm Boy. “I can make this buttercup disappear, just putting it in this cheese” he said. The King and The Queen were looking impressed. He took the buttercup and slowly put the buttercup into the cheese. “You see, now the buttercup is gone!”. The Queen almost dropped her mouth. The king also looked impressed. The king was whispering something to the waiter beside him, and the waiter said shocked “Dear Farm Boy! The King has chosen you to release his daughter Princess Sophia”. The farm boy immediately went quickly out of the door. He was so proud that he couldn’t wait. He walked for a long time, then he suddenly came to a big cave. “Hello? Someone here?” he shouted. No one answered, so he shouted again “Hello?”. This time some one answered this time “Who’s that ?”. It was a dark and deep voice, and it didn’t sound nice. Suddenly The Farm boy could see a big shadow. It came closer and closer. It was right in front of him, but the farm boy, wasn’t afraid. “Hallo Ogre” he said friendly. The Ogre wasn’t look impressed. “Who are you” he asked angry. “I’m a poor farm boy, I’ve been chosen to release Princess Sophia, Have you seen or heard?” He answered. The ogre didn’t answer the first time, but after a few seconds he said, “Yesterday, I saw the Witch, talking about, some princess while she was talking to her magic tree, she was saying that the trees needed a lot of Shrank head manure. But I won’t let her steel mine! Did you know how many times, she did that!?”. The Farm boy, didn’t answer that but asked “Where can I find the witch?”. “I won’t tell!” he said, and stock his nose up in the sky. “What if I can conjure a buttercup up?” he tempted. The ogre suddenly looked a lot friendlier. “Ok, but only if you promise to do me a favour?” he said. The farm boy smiled all over the face and said, “That all right, what’s the favour?”. “I will tell you where the witch live, if you promise to get me one of her apples! They are amazing”. “Ok, I promise that!, but do you have a box with some of your Shrank head manure?” The ogres turned around and start walking into the cave. 2 min after he returned with a little box in his hands. “Thank you” the Farm boy said. He took the cheese up of his back, and start putting the box in the cheese, just like he did with the buttercup. Slowly the buttercup came out on the other side of the cheese. The ogre looked very impressed. “You see, here is the buttercup!” The farm boy said while he gave the ogre his buttercup. “Oh my god... That was amazing!” The ogre said surprised and told the farm boy, where to go if he wanted to find the witch. The farm boy said thanks, and went out. He walked for a long time, before he could see the witch house. It was a little cottage. He knocked on the door, and a little voice answered “Come on in”. The farm boy opened the door, and wiped his feet on the doormat. The house was very dirty and on the walls hang pictures of ugly witches. “Who’s there?” The farm boy was chocked, the voice came from the living room. He walked silently into the living room and in a chair an ugly witch was sitting. She rock forward and backward. “II’mm a poor Faaaarm Boy” he stamped. “And I’m looking for Princess Sophia, have you seen her or heard anything about her?”, he asked with a little more confident. “Arhh... Your looking for the princess? Then you must be the chosen one?” she cracked. The farm boy was surprised. How could she know that he was the chosen one? “Yes, I am. But have you seen her?” He asked again. “Yes, yes, yes.. I’ve heard a lot about this so damn beautiful princess. Yesterday the evil fairy came by, and she was talking a lot about a prisoner, but I am not sure that it was “The Princess” she was talking about.” She said, but still on a cracked way. “Oh.. How glad I am for that conclusion. Then I’m on the right way, but where can I find this “Evil Fairy”. He asked relieved. “Oh.. My boy, that isn’t for free, I need to get paid for telling you these very close secrets.” She laughed. “Hm, OK what if a can conjure some Shrank Head manure, for you?” he said. The witch didn’t look that mad any more. “Oh, that would be that great. BUT!” she stopped. “What can I give you in return?” she continued. Then he said, “Can you give me some of your apples? And maybe some Sea stars?”. “Oh yes, my boy. Just wait a couple of minutes.” And then she was gone. It took a lot longer than the Ogre. But finally she was standing in the doorframe with a bag in one hand and some sea stars in the other. “Here you go” she said friendly and gave it to him. “Ok, thank you. Now I will give you your things” he said. And began to find his things in his bag. And put the bag with the apples in his bag. He took the cheese, and the witch looked a little bit confused, but she wasn’t saying anything. He began to put the sea stars in the cheese, just like he did with the other things. And again, there slowly was signs of the box with Shrank head manure. The witch jumped up and down, and when he handed her the box, she almost pulled it from his hand. But he was just smiling. Now he had the address, the apples and the Sea star to the Evil Fairy. He said “thank you” to the witch and went to the address she have gave him. This time he walked for many days, before he found the evil fairy’s castle. It was really big and had a lot of ravens flying around its high towers it was a little bit crepy but the Farm boy, wasn’t scared. He just wanted his princess. He went over a big bridge and he was looking very long in the castle before he found the princess. She was sitting in a chair tied with her hands. Her hair hanged over her face. It looked like she had fall asleep. When he came closer he could see her beautiful face. She had big cheeks and they were red like roses. Her hair was blond as the lightest sun. He couldn’t see her eyes but suddenly she opened them and she looked very chocked. She was now sitting straight, she looked into his blue eyes. “Hi Princess Sofia, I’m the Farm boy. I’ve been chosen to release you from this very dark and scary place. Now she was smiling. he immediately began to unleash the robe that was tied around her hands. She helped him, they wasn’t talking but, their eye contact was saying everything. When she was free they was ran through the building. “STOP! Where are you going!?” a voice said angrily. They turned around. The ugliest fairy, they have ever seen, was standing right in front of them. She was so ugly that it couldn’t be described. “Haaalloo, fairy” The farm boy stamped. She didn’t look happy. “You can’t release her, if you can’t give me anything in return!” she screamed. “Okkaaay, I can do magic” he said nervously. “Prove it!” she said angry. He took the cheese and start putting the princess into the cheese. Suddenly the sea stars came out in the other side of the cheese. “WoW! Sea stars, that was just what I need to make my “Secret weapon” she said surprised. Now she was very happy. The evil fairy said goodbye and the Farm boy walked confident out of the castle. When he was far away from the castle he took the cheese, and pulled Princess Sophia out. “Oh. Thank you so much, I LOVE YOU and you should be my prince.” She said and gave him a kiss. They walked for a long time, and when they came to the witch house, they waved and she smiled. When they came to the Ogre’s cave, the Farm boy shouted, “Hallo, Ogre! I have your apples”. They could hear a lot of tramps and then the ogre was there in the light. He was smiling. The farm boy took the apple and gave it to the ogre. “Mm... I love them, what about you can take my horse back to the castle, here take it. BUT promise me, that I will be invited to your wedding.” He said. “Of course” the Princess said and took the horse. “Come on, my prince, lets go home.” She said. The farm boy jumped on the horse and they rode towards the sun, and they lived happily ever after... Emma 6.a |
